The annual Council 75 Financial Standards Workshop will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the Holiday Inn in Wilsonville. The training will commence at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 5:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
The training will be conducted by an Auditor from our International Union. The training is open to all AFSCME officers statewide and is eligible for reimbursement under the Council 75 Travel Fund policy up to a maximum of $825 total for one participant from each local.
Per Council policy, all local officers are encouraged to attend this Financial Standards Workshop relative to the requirements of the AFSCME International Financial Standards Code. Additionally, all Council 75 officers authorized to sign checks and trustees are required to attend this training once during their term(s) of office. If you have previously attended this training you have met the policy requirement.
A block of rooms have been reserved at the Wilsonville Holiday Inn. All rooms will be direct billed to the Council and we will bill back the locals after the event. The room rate is $119 + tax/per night.
The cut-off date for room reservations is May 15, 2020.
